Our Approach
Momentum’s approach is focused on building intuition through shifts in perspective, rather than simply “rote” learning. As high school students, we can relate to fellow NYC students, allowing us to build a deeper connection that resembles a friend more than a teacher. The tutors themselves are a tight-knit family who learn and grow together every day. While your child will only be interacting with one tutor at a time, multiple tutors from Momentum will help plan the tutoring strategy for your child. You or your child can request your tutor’s phone number for help outside of tutoring sessions.
Tutoring Services
At Momentum, we provide our services in fixed bundles of hours. Through this approach, we give families the freedom to alot the sessions to fit their schedules. For example, after purchasing 3 hours, you can arrange 3 hour-long sessions, or simply have 1 large 3 hour session.

Babysitting Services
Momentum Tutors are patient, caring, and engaging individuals with extensive babysitting and community service experience. Prepared with various engaging activities, we prioritize the quality of your child’s time while you are away. Additionally, our staff can conduct transportation, cook, and tidy-up upon request.
